Paint Library’s tones are designed to give a profound depth of colour by using only the finest pigments and ingredients.
Many of these colours have been found in some of the most prestigious properties around the world, and this has been reflected in their colour palette.
A ‘world traveller’ ethos has inspired many of there shades, creating a global language for both well-travelled and aspiring travellers alike.
Some colours have been taken directly from grand interior spaces, some sourced from historic locations, others simply redolent of a landmark or destination developed by there design team into unique and highly versatile shades.

RIBA
Paper and Paint Library have joined forces with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) on a range of special co-branded paints.
It seemed a natural fit to join forces with the RIBA, which celebrates and upholds the best in British design and architecture and were delighted to formalise our relationship from September 2017.

PURE FLAT EMULSION PAINT
A matt water-based emulsion paint that dries to a soft chalky finish.
The high pigmentation gives a profound depth of colour and the flattest emulsion paint available. The paint is also micro-porous, to allow the fabric of a building to breathe.

ARCHITECTS’ MATT WASHABLE EMULSION
A high performance water-based alternative to Pure Flat Emulsion.
Completely washable matt emulsion paint with excellent scuff and stain resistance. Suitable for interior use. Use on interior walls and ceilings for all rooms, including kitchens, hallways and areas of high usage.

TRIMS, WOOD & METAL
ARCHITECTS’ EGGSHELL PAINT
A high quality, low odour, reinforced water based eggshell finish displaying excellent adhesion to existing aged alkyd finishes. Outstanding water resistance and excellent adhesion characteristics make this product highly suited for painting trim, kitchen furniture as well as kitchen & bathroom walls. Highly recommended for finishing radiators and is suitable for interior/exterior application.

ARCHITECTS’ SATINWOOD PAINT
A high-performance ambient cross-linking water based acrylic satinwood finish with excellent wash, wear, stain resistance and mild chemical resistance. Highly recommended for wooden furniture and trim.

PRIMERS & UNDERCOATS
ARCHITECTS ASP
flexible primer, suitable for use on all interior and exterior surfaces including woodwork, building plastics, tiles, glass and metal. Tinted to the shade of your chosen topcoat, it provides increased depth of coverage as well as excellent adhesion for a long-lasting finish.
This eco-friendly, water-based primer is easy to apply and offers a robust and durable base for a variety of surfaces. With low odour and a quick-drying time of two hours, it is the go-to preparation tool for DIY or professional projects.
